007-100 and 007-120 Valve Position Monitors pass IP68 test

Baseefa have now issued K Controls with ingress protection test reports for the 007-100 and 007-120 Exd Valve Position Monitors. Both enclosures have passed IP68 tests to EN 60529:1991 at a depth of 30 metres for 96 hours. Standard units are rated IP67. IP68 versions can now be supplied to special order.

Valve training - The British Valve and Actuator Association

Established in 1939, the British Valve and Actuator Association (BVAA) runs a number of high quality training courses at its head office in Banbury Oxfordshire. They are aimed at anyone involved in the engineering industry who needs to know more about valves, actuators and related products. BVAA courses are delivered by lecturers who have extensive knowledge and experience of the industry. U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) releases new safety video compilation

Safety videos produced by the CSB are now available free of charge. The videos are all based on actual accident investigation findings, determinations of root causes and safety recommendations. K Controls has held ISO 9001 approval since 1994

K Controls has held ISO 9001 approval since 1994. The Quality Management System is regularly audited and on January 18th 2012 it was re-assessed against the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2008. No "non- conformances" were raised.
